*If you completely unscrewed the nut:
– first instal the nut on the crutch,
– then the rubber gasket,
– then spin the Smart Crutch Tip

Once you have Smart Tips in front of you:

Open “Comeback Mobility – Patient” app

Tap “Connect” button

Allow app access to Bluetooth

Find your Smart Tips in device list, select it and tap the “Connect” button

Once connection is successfully established, program set up screen will be displayed

Choose the name and click “Connect”

*If Smart Crutch Tips are not found, click “Scan”, wait 2 minutes, and repeat Step 4. If the issue is not resolved, please contact Customer Support

Crutch height adjustment

Review your rehabilitation program in a tab labeled “Program”

Once you’ve mounted Smart Tips to your crutches, please make corresponding adjustments so the total height of your crutches with tips is comfortable for you.

Components

Crutch-tips-Device-Light

Universal nut for crutches with tip diameters of 0.6″ to 0.86″

Used in fully unmounted mode for thick crutches

Provides feedback on weight-bearing (WB) level: excessive, insufficient, or recommended WB

Pre-installed to prevent slipping

Device Installation

Remove the rubber tips from the crutches

Unscrew the fixing nut on Smart Crutch Tips

Put fixing nut on the crutch, followed by the plastic sleeve

Insert into the Smart Crutch Tip, to the bottom of device

By hand, firmly tighten the fixing nut

Light indications

Indication for each step

3 red flashings — excessive weight-bearing
Meaning: Need to put more weight on crutches

3 blue flashings — insufficient weight-bearing
Meaning: Need to put more weight on leg

3 green flashings — recommended weight on the leg
Meaning: Patient puts correct (recommended) weight on the leg

Power-saving mode

1 alternate blue and green flashing — energy-saving mode is off
Meaning: When tips are stationary for 2 minutes, energy-saving mode turns on automatically

Battery Charge Level

3 yellow flashings — tips charge level 20% – 10%
Meaning: Recommend charging crutch tips

Steady red light — tips charge level 10% – 0%
Meaning: Tips are discharged. Device must be charged to continue use

White flashing — charge is in progress
Meaning: When white flashing stops – device is fully charged

Steady green light — the device is fully charged
Meaning: You can disconnect the charger now and continue using the tips

Tips are faulty (out of order)

Alternate red and blue flashing 30 times, upon awakening from sleep
Meaning: Crutch tips cannot be used. Please contact Customer Support:
